This Regence mirror is beautifully adorned around the frame with stems and flowers and topped with three feathers representing the 3 virtues – faith, hope and charity. Detail photos below showing a crack in one of the feathers which had been previously repaired, surface cracks and loss of gilding, consistent with age.
