The base of this lamp is made of a vintage terra cotta water pot. The pots were used in china for carrying water with ropes that were looped through each of the 4 small handles. They have been reborn as a chic, very unique lamp base. Topped with a great linen look shade, they are a great looking used as a pair or single. Pair available.
